I do not know if you check the info entered into the computer message boards, but I recently found out that Mentilla H. Maple married a second wife 16-September-1845 in Grant Co., Indiana and had 2 more children, Catherine Maple and Bryan "Byron" Maple. Mentilla is in the 1870 census living with his son Solomon. I found marriage records for Solomon and Meredith Maple in Indiana. Second wife is Margaret Dehaven, her 1st marriage to John Hendrix and her 2nd to Mentilla Maple. My husband comes from Margaret's first marriage, daughter Mary Hendrix who married Robert Watson.
