Seeking death dates between 1880-1900

Classification: Query
Surnames: Hollenback, Craig
I'm seeking the death dates of Greenberry Hollenback and his wife Cynthia. They lived in Fall Creek Twp. and were last on the 1880 census living separately, each living with a child. Greenberry, 58, lived with his son Joseph Hollenback. Cynthia 52 and son William 28 lived with Cynthia's daughter Mary [Hollenback] Craig 20 and her husband Thomas.

The courthouse returned a check for death record copies with a note that Book 1 is missing.

They are supposed to be buried in the old Highland-Beaver cemetery, the part near the old church. There is no stone. Does anyone know if the burial records for that cemetery still exist and where we need to write to access them?

Can anyone tell us what funeral homes were in business in the area between 1880 - 1900 and where their records might be?

Some public family trees have a death year for Cynthia as 1886 and for Greenberry as 1893 with no source. What newspapers existed during that time period? Does a library have copies of them?

I'd appreciate any help someone can offer as a source for attempting to find the death dates for this couple.
