I need to clarify my previous message. The records in Indianapolis are the Final Oath records. These are the original books that were sent to Indianapolis for safekeeping and historical content. The record books there are from 1850 to 1920 and are in very good shape. They are also indexed. Harrison County is soon to be microfilmed so maybe the Corydon library can obtain a copy. They also have counties other than Harrison.
The first papers are in the various counties.
The new phone number for the Indiana Archives is 317-591-5222. I believe they also have a website but I do not know what it is.
