from The Republican (Danville, IN), issue of 4/4/1895--page 3, column 6:
Early Tuesday morning there passed away, probably the oldest citizen of the township and perhaps the oldest in the county, Aunt Nancy Falkner, as she was familiarly known far and near. On the 25th of last month she was ninety-three years old. She had long been a widow, residing with her daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Huron, also a widow and her loss will be more keenly felt than ordinarily. For many years she has been a faithful member of the M.E. church and she was a true Christian mother in Israel. Her funeral today (Wednesday) at the resident by Rev. N.W. Gossett.
