I have been at my "brick wall" for the past few years. My family Burk(e) / Griffith lived just North of Lizton in Hendricks Co. from the late 1830's until about 1870.

Does anyone know of any existing church records in the Lizton, IN area? Wild guess because the Burk family probably came from Ireland, that they were probably Catholic. But.... who knows! Has anyone found any churches with records going back that far in this area? Thanks
