Have been trying to locate parents for Harrison Newton b. in Kentucky about 1810 and married Nancy Barbee in Hendricks County, IN in 1831 and then after her death married Elizabeth Lamb there in 1848. They relocated to Iowa. I am trying to confirm a connection between Harrison and Minvera Jane Newton who married John Collins there in 1840 and also ended up in Iowa and Olive Newton who married John Barbee (potentially Nancy's brother?) there in 1836 and went to Iowa. It is my hope to connect the three and find out information on parents.
