William Charles HARSHEY, son of William and Elizabeth HARSHEY, was born in Martinsville, Indiana in 1892. He enlisted in Kokomo, Ind. 18 Apr 1917 and after a period of intensive training, he was sent to France with Battery B., 15th F.A. He was wounded in April, 1918, but at the end of 3 months treatment, he was back fighting at the front; then , in December, he was sent to Rhine Valley, where he remained until his return home in August, 1919.

No information was found in the SSDI for a HARSHEY born in 1892.
