Charley Ferry of this place (Hege), while bathing in Sand Creek Monday last, went beyond his depth and was drowned. His remains were interred at Scipio Tuesday. The family have the sympathy of everybody in this deep affliction that has come on them. He will be greatly missed, for he was liked by all and was a good boy.
