I had no idea there were Stuarts in Koscuisko County, Indiana. My maternal great grandmother was a descendant of Irwin Stuart and Hannah Ballinger. I am also a descendant of Henry Imel whose brother, Peter's descendants settled in Koscuisko County. Are there any Imels intermarried with the Stuarts there? This county name literally jumped of the page at me, because my son-in-law is a descendant of the Koscuisko County Imels, believe it or not as well, and I did family research for him . And yes the answer to your next question is...my grandchildren are also my distant cousins as a result of this. They thought that was really cool when I reported the other family connection that we have.
