I am looking for information regarding Martin L. Punches born in NY state bet. 1817 and 1820 and died Sept. 1894 in (probably) Aberdeen, South Dakota. He fought in Comp. G of the 30th Indiana Volunteer Infantry and was captured by the Confederates during the Siege of Atlanta and imprisoned at Andersonville and Florence for more than a year until his escape.

Martin, his wife Elizabeth A. Streator Clark, Elizabeth's children, Susan, Emily and Sidney, and Martin and Elizabeth's son Nelson show up in the LaGrange County, Indiana 1860 and 1870 Censuses.
