MARION COUNTY, IN QUERY

April 21st, 1998, McCowan Wilkins, Macron_uk@compuserve.com

I am looking for any information relating to Howard HUNT b. abt 1910-1912. He was always referred to as Howard but also had the christian name of Joseph which I believe is his true first name, therefor I am uncertain if he is Howard Joseph HUNT, or Joseph Howard HUNT.

He served in the US Army during WW2 as a Master Sergeant in Special Services 14th Port US Army, service No ASN 15106037 or 15606037 and was based at Tidworth, Wiltshire, England during the war.

After the war he worked as a welder at Massey Harris, Indianapolis. His mother was Ida HUNT. He was married to a women called Margaret and had a son Charles.

He is believed to have seperated from his wife in 1945/46. We believe he resided in Marion county at Lincoln St, Indianapolis 3 after the war (house number may be 8105). Any help greatly appreciated.
