Death of James Bradley
Monday morning at about six o'clock James Bradley of Polk township breathed his last, having suffered for some time from a complicated disease.
He was 78 years of age and had lived in Polk township since 1860, in which year he removed from Clinton county and bought land near Tyner. Having been a hardworking farmer all his life he cleared up several pieces of land in Polk township and made good farms of them. His wife, who survives him, is his second wife. He was the father of twenty-two children, ranging in age from sixty-four years down to four years, sixteen of whom are now living. He and three of his sons served in the army. The funeral services were held at Tyner Tuesday at 2 o'clock, Rev. Snyder of the U. B. church officiating.---
I am hoping to connect with some of his other decendants. With all those children there must be lots of them, hopefully some of which will read this.
