I saw your post and thought I would try to help you. I do not live in IN but do genealogy. It took me two days but I found where they are buried.
They are buried in Sanders Cemetery in Lowell, Lake Co. IN West Creek Township.
Dates for Martha Ellen were 1835, and she died 08 Sep 1919 in Shelby which is in Lake Co. IN. Record is in Gary, Book H24 Page 35 for Lake Co.
There were no dates for Paul Williams. There were also their son, Edward R. Williams and Gracy M. Williams listed and their son, Paul W. Williams with dates 20 Feb 1909 - 09 Feb 1926. (Just a note: You have that Paul was born in 1837, but the 1900 census has him born Mar 1833.)
Hope this helps.

I am researching my ancestor, who was first married to Hiram Walker, the brother of Francis. Hiram married Cynthia Fuller in Marshall County, and then she later married my ancestor Joseph Lake in that same county. I am going to guess she was a widow when she remarried. I am trying to find out more information on both Cynthia Fuller-Walker-Lake and her husband Joseph Lake, specifically trying to find out their parents. I know this is a stretch, but since Cynthia was at one time an in-law in this family that you have a lot of information one, wondering if you have any information on Cynthia. Their child William Lake, married Emily "Emma" McDonald in Marshall County, and then headed to western Wisconsin. Emily was the daughter of a S. McDonald and his wife was Maria, and I have a couple documents with her last name, one says Sprunger and one is Springer, it appears you have a similar last name, so wondering if those names sound familiar to you too. Thanks!

I noticed Orean Wilson listed in her obituary as her brother. I do not remember him. I searched his name and this article came up. My Grandmother is the last surviving sibling. I was wondering if you still have access to the headstone. She now lives in Warsaw Indiana. She is from Culver Indiana. Thanks.

Wondering if anyone in the area would be willing to look up a marriage certificate for Joseph Lake and Cynthia Walker, they were married in this county on March 24, 1853. What I want to know is are their parents' names listed on the document, and what are they? Before I spend money on ordering a document hoping that the information I seek is on there, thanks.

Yvonne

Martha Ellen McCollum was in Marshall Co IN by 1862, proven by letters she wrote to other McCollum persons. In 1864 she married Paul Williams (she is mistakenly listed with surname of McCollins on marriage record). He had joined the Union Army there in 1861 & was from NY. They resided in Marshall Co until at least 1880 as they are on the census there. Then they relocated to Newton Co IN by 1900 and lastly, he appeared as a widow on the 1920 census for Lake CO IN. I have searched for death info for them and have not found anything.

Martha Ellen was b May 1838 in OH. Paul was b Mar 1837 in NY. I cannot place either of them in a family prior to their marriage. I have researched their 7 children but still nothing that leads me to families for Martha Ellen and Paul.

I am desparate for assistance. Much thanks.

I believe we had CARR's in MARSHALL CO in mid 1800's. The probably came from Prairie township in KOSCIUSCO CO where they relocated around 1830. Martin Luther came with his children Martin Jr., John Davis Carr, Elizabeth Carr-Woods, and another daughter that married a ? LAWYER. there was also a Eli Carr. John D. was married to a Mary ?
Martin had married again to a Martha?. Martin died in 1844 and is buried in a cemetary that still exist there.
The came to INDIANA from OH, where they had originnaly lived in FAYETTEE CO., when the moved from HARDY CO VA to 1st ROSS CO. and then to FAYETTE( 1808). Martin had a brother Solomon that lived in DELEWARE CO. OH and another brother, Conrad, that died in PICKAWAY CO. in Deer Creek township while visiting his children who moved there around the same time. John D. ended up in WHITE & TIPPECANOE co.s. Not sure were the rest went. I think WOODS moved to Iowa, and LAWYERS stayed in Kosciusco.

I have so much information that was collected prior to using computers. From the National Archives, Civil War Pension files, and lots of family photographs copied on a copy stand with my Grandmother's memories and help over 25 years. I am the eldest daughter from Conrad's first marriage. Rebecca Ann Bradley b. 1951
I have a family member who I use to work with on this line her ancestors were from another one of those many children that James Bradley of Tyner had. Let me know what I can do. I live in Maryland but grew up in Plymouth so I do make trips back there.
Jane Demott OUTCALT, burial location??

Jane is last found on the 1860 census in Bourbon Township, Marshall County. She and her husband Frederick OUTCALT were born in NJ (1797 and 1799) and came to IN from OH.

I have her death date as 8 June, 1865 from other researcher's records, but nothing documented. It appears that Frederick moved with some of his adult children to Missouri by 1866 where he died in 1883. He's not buried in the cemetery where his children are in MO, so I'm speculating his body might have been returned to Indiana to be buried with Jane.

They're not on Find A Grave.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Melissa, not related, just trying to help. In the 1880 census for Indiana, Marshall county, District 107, page 16, there was a family headed by George A Kreighbaum, 40, a house painter, born in Ohio and both parents in Pa, and included his wife Caroline, 36, keeping house, born in Ind, father in NY and mother in Va, his daughter Florence, 13, at school, born in Ind, his son Clarence A, 5, Ind and his son Olin P, 5/12, born in Jan 1880, Ind. In 1900 census for LaPorte county, Michigan township, Michigan Cith, Dist 66, page 17A, there was a family headed by Chas Ekelin, 37, born Jul 1862, married 17 years, a tailor, born in Sweden as were both parents, immigrated 1889, had filed to become a citizen, and included his wife Mary, 43, Apr 1857, same marriage, birth and immigration info, mother of 6 with 5 still living, keeping house, his son Chas, 11, Dec 1888, same birth and immigration, at school, his daughter Anna, 10, Jan 1890, Ind, at school, his daughter Ellen, 8, Mar 1891, Ind, at school, his son Alex, 4, Jun 1895, Ind, and his son John, 1, Jun 1898.
Hiram Redding b. 6 aug 1834 in plymouth, marshall, indiana. Both parents supposedly born in Ohio. Can't find parents name.
? Joseph born 1800 in Ohio.

found out for sure that Matthias and Elizabeth Redding were not Hiram's parents. This according to Marshall Co. Historical Society in Marshall, Indiana.

After reading the info. from MHS, it turned out that Joseph was definately Hiram, Elizabeth and David Reddings father. David was born in 1841 but can't find out anything about what happened to the mother. Joseph went to fight in the Mexican war in 1846-1848 and left his children. Hiram was on his own, Elizabeth (12) at that time evidentually went to live with an uncle? in Indiana, David (4) was adopted by Isacc How family. Joseph died in 1848 after the war supposedly on his way back home to Indiana. Anyone have more information on the mother please let me know. Matthias was married to Elizabeth Higans and after he died she remarried to a Daniel Nitcher (not their) mother.

I am looking for descendants & relatives of Rev. Andrew Mast, b. Oct 1898 & d. 13 Aug 1974 in Bremen, Marshall, IN. He was the last pastor of Zion German Evangelical Church in Chicago before it merged with Kloeckner Memorial UCC Church, Chicago. Archivists at both the Evangelical & the UCC archives have said that when the Kloeckner Church disbanded in 1976, the registers were not located. I am hoping that either Rev. Mast or Rev. Roy Gieselmann (d. MO) took the registers to same them from destruction, & I'm hoping relatives & descendants may have a vague idea of what happened to the registers. Thanks for any names of descendants. I am not related to either pastor, so I don't need genealogical info - I'm just looking for the registers which probably hold clues to my families.
