"Davenport Place"??
I recently came across an old family scrapbook that had belonged to my great-great aunt, Edith LEES. The LEES branch of my family was from the Peru-area of Indiana. One page of the scrapbook has some photos of various distant cousins gathered in front of a very old-looking cabin or house of some sort. The only label on the page was "Davenport Place". (The quotes were hers, not mine.) Is anyone familiar with a location called Davenport Place in Miami County (or perhaps around Peru somewhere)? I would appreciate any information you might have.
