Sorry to hear about your Mother dying. After some years the pain eases, but it never really goes away. I'm not sure who named you peaches, but it sounds like something either Mom or Margie would have done. I remember us visiting Aunt Margie over in Missouri at their farm. Learned how to milk a cow there. When we went up to see Grandad Amel up in Detroit, Mi. at the hospital before he died in 1965, my Mom, me, Junior and his wife went up there in Juniors car. I believe it was a Studebaker or a Rambler, but I remember Junior drove fast. I think he drove all the way from Utah, and he hadn't been married long. At one point he told Mom to drive, and he got in the back seat so he could smooch with his wife.
