I am descended from Fred Freund (Friend). Fred Friend was born 26 Mar 1878 in Posey, Indina. He married 1- Laurinda Elder on 9 Aug 1903; died 16 Nov 1913. They had 4 sons. Wilbur, Loren, Leslie & Eugene. He married 2 -Eliza Berchtold (b. Nov 1879) on 25 Mar 1916. They had 1 daughter - Naomi. I have been trying to find more information on Fred's father; also a Fred Freund. I have been told he came from Baden, Germany (possibly in 1866). Born 1845. Married an Elizabeth Lane (who was married to a Schiffer - had 6 boys, widowed) then to Fred Freund. They had 8 children. Do you have any information on the German connection?
