Frank SCHNEE, 76, of 914 W. Fourth street, a life-long resident of Posey county except for a brief residence in Arkansas and for many years a farmer died at 9:20 a.m. Sunday. He had been ill more than a year.
The body is at the Short Funeral Home and will remain there through the funeral service set for 2 p.m.Wednesday in the Short chapel. Burial will be in Bellefontaine cemetery. Rev. James N. Colbert, pastor of Mt. Vernon General Baptist Church will be the officiating clergyman.
Mr. Schnee was a native of New Harmony vicinity, a son of W. H. Schnee and Mary Endicott SCHNEE.
Surviving are the wife, nee Mildred Herring; seven daughters, Mrs. Henry Lile and Mrs. Fred Stull, Jonesboro, Ark., Mrs G. L. Morris, Richmond, Calif; Mrs. Clay Isham, Evansville, Mrs. James Goss, Mt. Vernon and Helen and Ruth SCHNEE at home; two sons, Earl SCHNEE, Mt. Vernon, and Geliert SCHNEE, Clearwater, Fla; 14 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren, and two brothers, Perry SCHNEE, Lomita, Calif., and Asa SCHNEE, Jonesboro, Ark..
