(Johann) Phillip BORGELT
I'm trying to find my husband's great-grandfather in the 1870 census to no avail. The only clue I have for the time period between about 1867 and 1878 is that he was admitted to the Dayton Veterans Home in Ohio and the entrance information indicated he had come there from "Wardville" or "Woodville" Indiana. I have searched many similar names and just discovered Wadesville. He was a German immigrant, lived in Covington KY first. Possibly re-married in 1867, disappeared until the Home. 2nd wife died??? any directories in that time frame? Cemetery records? All help much appreciated.
