Searching for any information about the FISHER family of PUTNAM CO., lived near Greencastle. Father CARLOS FISHER had nine children (4 boys and five girls). He was a stone mason. Scotch Irish. One daughter Cora Edith FISHER was my ggrandmother on my father's side. She married Alvin Jay Fugitt on June 14, 1888. Family moved to Mt. Vernon were Cora was born (1862). Moved to Carthage MO about 1870.
