David Radcliff (b. VA) & family, 1850 Addison twp., Shelby, Indiana

Classification: Query
Surnames: Radcliff, Radcliffe, Main
I am trying to track down the following family:

1850 Addison twp., Shelby co., Indiana

David Radcliff - abt. 1804, Virginia
Lydia Radcliff, abt. 1817, Ohio
William H. H. Radcliff, abt. 1841, Indiana
Eliphilet E. Radcliff, abt. 1839, Indiana
Mary Radcliff, abt. 1845, Indiana
Mariah Radcliff, abt. 1848, Indiana
Lucy F. Radcliff, abt. Feb. 1850, Indiana

This family lived next to Hugh Dobbins & family, who were pretty well known in Shelby county.

I have no idea where the Radcliffs came from or what happened to them. I am hoping they are related to Frank/Francis Marion Radcliff (married Mary Jane Main), b. July 1833 or 1839, & a Union Civil War veteran. David Radcliff is the only other Radcliff from Addison township that I've been able to find at all. Somewhere (lost the reference) I had noted that Frank's father may have been from Rockingham county, Virginia. Is David his father??? And who is David's father?

Frank's descendants added an "e" to make their name Radcliffe in the first half of the 1900s.

Any help or clues or conjecture greatly appreciated!
