I don't know where David C. Brown was born. In his 1921 affidavit for Elisha Cookson's pension claim, he stated he was 74 years old (born about 1847) and that his parents raised Elisha Cookson and that Elisha Cookson lived in the Brown household until the joined the army in 1861. That's all I have been able to learn about the Browns.
