I think this is your family. In the 1900 census for Indiana, Vanderburgh county, Pigeon township, there was a family headed by Anna M Kessel, she had two sons and daughters. Also included was her son-in-law John Kissner, 43, a widower, and his two daughters Anna M, 10, born June 1889 and Alice, 7. Hope this helps. Don
