Dr. Robert C. B. Calhoun, b. in 1822, the son of James Calhoun & Nancy (?) in Washington, Daviess Co., IN. His parents came from PA to IN in bef. 1820. Dr. Calhoun m. on 10-3-1844 Eliza Goodman, the daughter of Micajah Goodman & Malinda Black. Dr. Calhoun & Eliza had two homes, one in Terre Haute and another at Liggett, Sugar Creek Twp, Vigo Co., IN. Dr. Calhoun d. 7-28-1872 of food poisening and is thought to be buried at Bethesda Cemetery in Sugar Creek Twp. Eliza Goodman Calhoun d. in 1906 at the home of her son, A. Williamson Calhoun and is buried at Willow Wild Ceme., West Bonham, Fannin Co., TX.

2) John Bartlett Calhoun, b. 4-23-1847, Terre Haute, Vigo Co., IN, d. 12-20-1935 in Cashion, Kingfisher Co., OK, m. 1st Mattie Burns, 2nd Margaret Seal, the daughter of Joseph Doughty Seal & Nancy Elizabeth McCall.
3) Mary Elizabeth Calhoun, b. abt 1849 in Terre Haute, Vigo Co., IN, d after 1934 in Tuscola, Douglas Co., IL, m. Captain David Bailey, 3-11-1869 in Terre Haute, Vigo Co., IN.
4) James C. Calhoun, b. August 1852, Terre Haute, Vigo Co., IN, d. Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA m. 1st Laurettie Wright on 10-38-1876 at Terre Haute, Vigo Co., IN and 2nd Emma ? abt 1890, Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA.
5) Emma Calhoun, b. 1858, d 1898, San Antonio, Tom Green Co., TX, m. 1st Mr. Munks; m 2nd Michael Cleary, 1879 in St. Louis, St. Louis Co., MO.
6) Allie Calhoun, b. 1863 d. October 1955 at Seal Beach, CA. m. H. L. Estill, on January 23, 1884 San Antonio, Bexas Co., TX.
