Thanks for the info. That makes sense to me. I wonder which was the "first" family to move from Warrick to MO? I also have some of my Hardin--Cohoon family doing the same move around 1893. My great-great grandmother was born in Bertrand, Mississippi Co, MO in 1893. Her parents were from Warrick County, IN. Seems like people starting going to MO from IN, possibly for better farming? What else could it be back then - there wasn't any other reason to go!
