MCCOY the family of James And Nancy LANE MCCOY came to Washington County around 1812-1817 after living in Clark County. James, Nancy and one of their sons died in 1833 in a cholera epidemic. They lived in Salem and in Charleston where James served as a pastor in 4 different churches and was a farmer. My grgrgrgrandfather is the son of James Vincent MCCOY (born 1806) who married Eleanor JACKSON. They had several children including William Henry MCCOY who was born in 1840. Vincent was living in Fullton County by 1851. Any help will be much appreciated and I can share much info. about Clark County and Washington County from 1800-1860. Thank You!
