I am looking for the MARTIN family of Wayne County, Indiana. I am looking for the descendants of Carl MARTIN who may have lived in the Abingdon or Centerville area. We have been told he lived on a farm and did blacksmith work.

Carl had a son, Lacey MARTIN, who was a lineman who pulled wire for the electric or phone company. Lacey died in 1934 in Indiana. Lacey was married to Nora Elizabeth LAYNE at the time of his death. At the time of Lacey's death, Nora and their son Lacey MARTIN Jr. was staying in Pikeville, KY while he was working and she remained there after his death.

Lacey Martin Jr. was my husband's father. Any help finding other descendants would be greatly appreciated.
