Lea, My name is Pat Hemphill. I live in La Porte. I never new this cemetery excited until about two years ago. I, and some of my family, came down to have a look see and what we saw was deplorable. I have ancent ancesters that are buried there thur some research I have done. My recent ancesters are buried in the Dobbins cem. just around the corner. Has your local trustee done anything about this mess? If not my goal in April or May is to come to a county counsil meeting and raise my concerns and try and get something done about it, even if I have to volunter to help.
