Andrew Thompson married Harriet Degan/Longlois of Wabash Co, IL in 1850 and was listed in the 1850 census there. Says he was born in IN; later obit on his granddaughter also says he was from IN. They had two children at least. Andrew and Harriet are not anywhere to be found in 1860. In 1870 a guardian bond is posted by Harriet's father to be guardian for their two minor children. The document says Andrew is "late of Minnesota." And that he is deceased.

He may be the son of an Ephraim Thompson of Daviess Co, IN. Or he may be the son of any number of other Thompsons who were around at the time he was born! I would appreciate any help to find Andrew Thompson. Thanks.
