I'm looking for information on a woman that married a Sharp and ran him over with a wagon around Chicago, Illinois. Her name was Katherine or Catherine or some variation thereof. She had at least one child with him, a daughter named Catherine Sharp, who barely remembered the incident before they moved down into southern Indiana. I read a story about it online and her daughter spoke of her being Native American, possibly Lakota. Why did she run over her husband? I don't know, but the story I read may have made his family out to have hated her because of her heritage and she snapped. I'm looking for any information on this or a link to the story that I read online a few years ago. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks!
