I don't know if you're still looking, but this is my great great grandmother. Philomena and John Coyle's son John L Coyle was my great grandfater. John L Coyle b 1872 Indiana married Clara Andres in 1910 and had John H Coyle b. 1914 and Frances J Coyle b. 1918 (my grandfather). All resided in Peru Indiana until around 1940.

Question about obtaining death certificate from 1912

I tried to obtain a copy of my great grandmother's death certificate. She died in 1912. From what I found, you have to be a son, daughter, or grandchild. There are too many Shelly and Shelleys to be sure who they are. There were many James Shellys and Shelleys and no Margaret Shelly/Shelley. Sorry.

Do you have anything on the Harris, Shelly (or Shelley) families, in particular Margaret Shelly (Shelley) unsure of spelling. Also, James T. Shelly (Shelley). I am attempting to find her Indian ancestry. The family has been told by a late local historian that we are ancestors of Chief Monoquet. We definitely know that Margaret was partial Indian.

Jacob Miller b. 1776 PA - died in Indiana *Covington?), date unknown, possible spouse Margaret. Son Americus H. Miller

Also, looking for any children born to Jacob Miller, other than Americus H. Miller b. 1835 in Troy, IN. Possible mother Margaret. There are plenty of Millers in that area, but I'm having difficulty determining who could be a sibling of Americus.

I did not find him in my IN Birth Index CD. I did find a Perry W. Johnson b. July 1, 1887 in Boone Co. IN from a World War 1 card. He registered at age 29 in Kokomo, IN.
He lived in Kokomo and was an Inspector for Kokomo Water Works.
I also searched the Howard Co. Website and found where there is an obituary available on a Perry Johnson who died in 1939. His obit was in the Kokomo Tribune. You should try to get a copy and that should give his parents' names and where he was buried.

Thank you for responding, but the William Rhoades I wanted the info on had 4 children(3 girls &1 boy). I knew all of them in fact my grandmother found him hanging in the barn when she was 16. I am having a hard time getting a death certificate.

Yes this makes sense. William Rhoades hung himself in the barn the day the family was moving to another farm. My grandmother was 16 at the time she and her future husband Lonnie Lemons found him. A person in Morgan Co. found the newspaper clipping at the library and sent me a copy. But I would like to have the "Death Certificate". Thank you for your response.

William Williams was born 20 December 1760 Ft. Pitt (now Allegheny Co. Pennsylvania). He married (1) Elizabeth Dailey abt. 1786 Brunswick Co. Virginia and (2) Margaret Plunkett 13 October 1796 in Bourbon Co. Kentucky. They lived in Brunswick Co. Virginia, Bourbon Co. Kentucky and Preble Co. Ohio.

Looking for information re: Frederick Raymond Rinker, born in 1893, St Joseph, Indiana. 1900 and 1910 Federal census lists him as grandson in household of Jacob Krow or Kron. Others listed in the household are Eli, Vida, Ruth, Elma B, M. Louisa, Edna Krow or Kron. Elma was Mr. Rinker's mother...but I cannot find any other information on him other than that. I know that he died in Crawford, NE in 1986. He was my grandfather, but his background was always a bit shrouded...

Any other information would be wonderful!!
