I did some checking for you. I have an Indiana Marriage Index and found the marriage of Earl E. Bowers, b. March 16, 1895 to Mable Huddleston, b. August 16, 1898 married in Marion Co. IN December 6, 1919. Book 107 Page 35.
CA Death Index: Earl Ernest Bowers b. March 16, 1895 in Indiana d. December 5, 1953 in San Francisco Co. CA. Mother's maiden name: Hobson.
World War Draft Card on Earl Ernest Bowers shows he registered in Indianapolis, Marion Co. IN. He was age 22, single and living at 2035 E. Washington in Indianapolis, IN. Says he was born in Decatur, Macon Co. IL March 16, 1895. He was a barber for Alvin Noah, 243 N. Delaware in Indpls. Earl was tall, medium build, brown eyes, dark hair and had no disabilities.
