Surnames: Tift/Obenchain/Fridley/Bernau
My stepgrand father, was William Townsend Tift, son of Allen B. and Laura Moorehouse Tift, and the last of his family, was born in Ashtabula County, Ohio on Feb. 16th 1848. I am trying to find a census or any record that gives names of siblings of William Townsend Tift. There may have been a brother Semer B., and Silas.
William T. married Mary Elizabeth Obenchain October 1877-March 1908
this union six children were born: Violet Mary who died at 3 years of age, Bert A. Tift of Leroy, Minn. George W. of Westgate, Iowa, Nellie Elizabeth who died at the age of 2 1/2 years, Mrs Laura (Floyd) Fridley of Lake City, Iowa, and Mrs Lulu (Robert)Bernau whose death occurred in 1934.
Can anyone help me with this?
