Would appreciate any help or direction in obtaining death certificate for JACOB MONTGOMERY b 21 May 1793 probably Virginia.....died 22 May 1866 Nashua, Chickasaw, Iowa. 1860 census shows him living in Bradford,Chickasaw,Iowa with fourth wife ELIZABETH ( Unknown maiden name) and two sons CALVIN age 16 and LEONARD age 5,also close to this family is a JACOB MONTGOMERY age 8 living with JOHN and LOUISA BUTLER.....Jacob was suppose to have another son about this age so this 8 year old Jacob may belong to him, but I am unsure of the BUTLER connection. Two possibilities LOUISA was a MONTGOMERY or BUTLER could be ELIZABETHS maiden name. I mention this because of the Bradford location, but a Bio on another of JACOB'S sons that I found says he died in Nashua (maybe town changed names?)Any help or direction in locating burial site or death certificate would be so appreciated....Sherry in Texas
