MANEY/MEANY

Classification: Query
Surnames: MEANY. MANEY
My ancestor, Michael Meany, settled ca 1857/8 in Sec 23, Liberty Twp. The 1860 US Census includes:
364/356 Michael Meany 32M Ireland + wife & 2 chn
365/357 Timothy Meany 36M Ireland + wife & 4 chn.
My question concerns Timothy Meany. This specific person is completely unknown to me, and he [and his family] are no longer in Clarke Co. in 1870 US Census. It seems odd that two men with same surname, both from Ireland and having children born in Penn - would be unrelared. Can anyone tell me who this Timothy Meany was and what became of him and his family after 1860? Please reply to holdenj@sbcglobal.net.
