Surnames: Moter, McClellan
I am looking for informatio about the Peter D. Moter b. 1800 family living in Flint River Twp. in the 1856 census. Wife was Cynthia McClellan Moter b. 1806 and children were: Washington b. 1840, William A. b. 1841, Mariah E. b. 1842, Robert C. b. 26 Apr. 1844, David Ellis b. 7 April 1845. I can find nothing on Mariah after 1860 when the family is listed as Noter in the 1860 Census Danville Twp. Des Moines, IA. I can't find Washington after 1856 but have info. on the rest of the family. Would be interested to find out the dates of marriage and/or death for Washington and Mariah.
