Ferrell, Flora Dee-Teacher

My grandmother, Flora Dee Ferrell, was born and raised in Danville. She taught school there, I believe, until her marriage in 1900. I think she was an active teacher for about 10 years. Is there any list of such teachers ? Or I would like to know of any student she taught so that I can identify where she taught. Thanks for any help.
