Evelyn Elizabeth Molle, 79, died May 10, 2002, at the Stewart Community Memorial Hospital in Lake City, Iowa. She was born Nov. 6, 1922, in Grand Junction, Iowa, the daughter of George J. and Anna Jane Harrison Glenn. She attended school in Grand Junction, graduating in 1941.

On Sep 27, 1941, she married Dean Molle. They lived for a time in Redondo Beach, Calif. Following Dean's discharge from service in the Army Air Force during World War II, the couple moved to Grand Junction. In 1959, they moved to Scranton.

She was a homemaker and farm wife, enjoyed birds, her Doberman dogs, gardening, flowers, making rag rugs, and embroidering quilts for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dean on July 1, 1997; and four brothers, Charels Glenn, James Glenn and two brothers in infancy.

She is survived by her sons Dennis Molle of Lone Tree and David Molle and his wife Elly of Kingsley; a daughter, Susan Brant and her hsuband Phil of Glidden; seven grandchildren, Mark Molle and friend Wendy, Debra Grunsted and husband Rich, Mike Molle and friend Cathleen, Kent Brant and friend Tisha, Cindi Onken and husband Chad, Jeff Molle and wife Tisha and Luke Molle; 11 great-grandchildren, Jessie Helt, Amanda Helt, Maxwell Molle, Jacqueln Molle, Hunter Grundsted, Gunner Grunsted, Kelsey Brant, Zachary Onken, Madison Onken, Kenny Williams and Joe Riesberg; her special cousin, Violet Colby of Mountain Home, Ark; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, at the Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson, Iowa, officiated by the Rev. Rick Hamilton of Grace Baptist Church, Glidden. The hymnms 'In the Garden' and 'The Old Rugged Cross' were provided by Beverly Casey.

Pallbearers were her grandchildren. Honorary bearers were John Ealy, Larry Sellers, Robert Glenn, Denton Wenger, Ron Nolting and Kenneth Glenn.

Interment was in the Scrantor Township Cemetery.
