Recently, I was at the Jackson Cty Historical Society and obtained a Mt Hope Cemetary Listing record for my Great Aunt Bunah I WILSON. It appeared as follows:
"Wilson, Bunah I b. 23 Sep 1892; d.21 Feb 1960; Lot No 392", and in the Note column were the following initials: "PNG"
No one at the history center was able to tell me what the "PNG" might mean. My aunt was a teacher and principal in Maquoketa schools for many years. Is this perhaps an organization she belonged to? Does anyone know?
