My second great grandfather is KINSMAN D. WOLFE! I was really surprised to see your D. Kinsman! My Kinsman was born in Aug 1824 in Ohio, married Marjary Courtney in Highland Co., OH 27 Aug 1843. They went by covered wagon to IA about 1856 with their children, Levi, Melissa, Sarah, and John (who was born on the "road," in Montgomery Co., IN). Kinsman was a circuit preacher in Iowa, and I know very little about him. He remarried after Marjary died, between 1870 and 1890, and he died 20 Feb 1905. He is buried in Winterset Cemetery. Kinsman's father was born in VA, and his mother in OH. I do not know who his parents were. Is this all just a coincidence?
