I am a descendent of Peter (1909-1965) and Johanna (nee SCHOLTUS) (1916-1996) Van Polen. We are doing a search on the Van Polen family tree.
My father is the son of John and Martha (MENNINGA) Van Polen. They lived in the Oskaloosa area.
His father was Melus and Antje (nee VRIEGELAAR) who immigrated from Holland in the mid 1800's. We found their grave stone in the Graceland Cemetery in Pella. We do not have any other information about them.
