I am still looking for anything that someone can tell me is the plot number/grave number, or has map of the cemetery. I have been to the funeral home and looked at the map they have and I can not find my Charlotta Edman who died April 16 1887 and is supposed to be buried in "OLD" cemetery. The funeral home tells me this means OLD WHITE cemetery. Her son Charles died 7/7/1887. My grandmother is now "99" and she wants to be sure there is a stone on Charlotta's grave before she goes. Ive had many stories on these cemeteries that Im wanting to know now more proof. I have been to the library and I cant understand why there is a book there that has some grave /lot number with names. And some were old graves. So that tells me somewhere at sometime there was a record! I have also been to cemetery many times and have found where people put new stones on thier family graves that were older than 1887. Ive had the funeral home check thier map and she and her son are not listed on it. Anyone know of maybe church records I can maybe inquire abt?
Any help, thoughts, suggestions as to where to go next? I have seen the death record at the court house and they didnt have grave number either.
Thanks for any help whats so ever!!!!
