searching for information on parents of Mildred Gladys Harris probably born in Polk Co. IA, in late 1915. Orphaned around 1917-1918 and placed in orphanage in Ankeny Iowa. Orphanage burned down in ???1950's. She was placed before 1920 with family of Rev. James Quinter Goughnour of "The Church of the Brethern" She had sister Grace who was approx. 3 years older who was placed with different family. Father was possible serviceman, possible first name Maurice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
