My grandmother, Ella Caroline Kassing was born in Castana,
Monona Co,IA on June 24,1890. My grandfather was born in Ute,Monona Co,IA on May 14,1895. Ella died in Ute Feb 24,1925. They were married in 1914(the only info I have on their marriage). Would you please look in your Monona Co book for any data on them. I have little data on the Kassings and quite a bit on the Cunninghams, but as you know we never have too much history on our families. Thank you for your time. Linda Day-Reardon

Surnames: Steele, Leach, Ball
Would like to see if you can help me find some information on my great grandparents. Their names are William Steele and Myrtle Edna Leach-Steele. All I know about them is that William died between the years of 1928-1931. His parents were William Steele Sr. and Mary Harry or Houy or something like that.Myrtle was born on Nov 17, 1885 in Center, Monona County, Iowa. She died on Mar 15, 1969 in Sioux City, Woodbury Coo., Iowa. Her parents were Rueben Leach and Jane Ball- Leach. William and Myrtle were living in Monona County, Iowa ( I believe the town was Mapleton) in 1914, that is where their son Elmer David Steele was born. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am Stuck on this family.

Thanks,

Tracy
