James David Murray, b. 24 Dec., 1851 Hendricks Co., IN migrated to Monona County in 1870. He & Lydia Metcalf married here & had 13 children. I am looking for other members of the family. Lydia d. in 1939. My grandfather, John Harry Murray was one of their sons. He lived in the Whiting & Mapleton areas.

Surnames: Workman, Murray, Price, Taylor, Selsor, Payne
John L. Workman of IL, b. 1850. His first wife was Margaret E. Fitzgerald, m. 25 Sep., 1873 in Clark Co., IL; issue Rosetta Ellen b., 19 Sep., 1874. Margaret d., perhaps due to the birth. His second wife was Nancy Elizabeth Price, whom he met in Montevallo, Vernon, MO. Out of the marriage on 18 Nov., 1877, issue Frank, 3 Mar., 1879 and Robert, 6 Apr., 1880. Rob't was my grandfather.
