I am not related. William A Haines married "Allie" M Shriener [Shriner] 21 Jan 1882 in Polk county, Iowa daughter of Joseph Shriner of Ohio and Matilda Henderson of Virginia or Ohio.

William's parents were Samuel B Haines of Ohio and Lydia "Liddie" Reeves of Scipio, Meigs Co, Ohio, unable to pinpoint the Haines family in 1870 census and there was one sister in household in 1880 US census and 1885 state census, Narcissus, married William Thrapp abt 1887; including two Haines marriages in Polk county in the event one of the below was also sister of Wm A. Haines.

Unfortunately there were 4 Samuel Haines born appx 1829 in the 1850 census, none of them in Meigs county in 1850 and unable to find marriage record nor one for Joseph Shriner and Matilda Henderson from Swan, Vinton Co, Ohio.

The 1925 state census for Iowa has parents names showing maiden name of mother, unable to find Wm A and Ollie Haines in that record.

Narcissus Thrapp was listed in 1925 record living with her mother in Des Moines, Polk, county and two of Ollie's sisters are listed identifying parents names. Lydia Reeves Haines parents were Solomon Reeves and Elizabeth Irvin.
