Frances Hornbeck was previously married to unknown Eberhart and listed as married living with parents in 1920 census with her son Richard Eberhart in Tama county. The Hornbeck's listed in Tama county census records as well as the Houghton's except for 1900. Harold William Houghton was born in Tama county.

They moved to Chicago, Cook Co, IL and listed there 1930 census with Richard listed as Houghten/Houghton with 3 of Harold's siblings and Frances' brother Henry Hornbeck. Robert Houghton was born in Illinois about 1924.
