I am having difficulty finding my father and his family. I was born in Moline, IL, in 1976 and adopted in 1979. All I have of my father is his name on the adoption records from the court and a possible hit on the 1940 census referring to a Frank Edwards in Davenport, IA, born in 1939. I am anxious to meet my birth family and will be taking a DNA test to try figuring out some of his background. Any information is useful.
