Earl Wayne Krug Sr., 71, of El Dorado, died Friday, Dec. 29, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Carlson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
He was born Sept. 23, 1929 to Donald W. and Clara (Parker) Krug near Atlanta. He came to El Dorado in 1965 from Wichita and also had lived in Latham. He worked for Beech Aircraft for 26 years and was a quality control inspector. He graduated from Latham High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951 to 1953. He was a member of I.A.M. Union #733.
On June 1, 1954, he was married to Yvonna Hanson in Newkirk, Okla.
Survivors include: his wife of the home; sons, Earl Krug Jr. of Salina, Michael Krug of Albuquerque, N.M., Gary Krug of Ozona, Texas, and William Krug of El Dorado; 10 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in care of Carlson Funeral Home, which has the arrangements.
