Bev,
I just "found" this message board. I was concerned by your message, especially the "living nightmare" part. I'm hoping that you did not have that impression of the Ellsworth County part of KSGenWeb. But, if you did, please tell me what problems you found and/or suggestions you have to correct it.
It is also true that since you made your post in 1999, many things have changed.
I have added a site map and a search feature.
I also finished posting the index to a large book published in 1902 and have had many wonderful experiences providing lookups from that book. These entries are found there:
Wilson, Eli C., 699, Vol I; 26 MAR 1844, Richland Co., OH; aft 1902, Evan Twp., Kingman Co., KS
Wilson, J. A., 301, Vol I; 15 AUG 1851, Trumbull Co., OH; aft 1902, Nickerson, Reno Co., KS
Wilson, James M., 271, Vol I; 12 SEP 1864, Bath, NY; aft 1902, Ellsworth Co., KS
Wilson, W. Henry, 290, Vol I; 23 FEB 1839, Greene Co., PA; aft 1902, Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS
Wilson, Andrew W., 1570, Vol II;
Wilson, Jesse H., 1408, Vol II;
Wilson, Marion T., 1163, Vol II;
Wilson, Morrison W., 964, Vol II;
Wilson, Thomas P., 836, Vol II; 23 NOV 1857; Tarrant Co., TX; aft 1902; Kiowa, Barber Co., KS
Wilson, T. R., 1571, Vol II;
I have posted information about the Buckeye cemetery - and am working on more. I have also had some very heart-warming results on this - find long-lost families. This entry comes from there:
B21,Wilson, Gail,54-9-23,1969, Apr 21
There is information about OVER 169 families on the "Query" page. There are four queries that concern the surname WILSON and one posted by a person whose name is WILSON.
I did NOT find any reference to Jump or Marksberry.
I'd be happy to post your query, if you'd like me to.
