My great-grandfather George M. White moved to Delphos, KS around 1871 or 1872. His wife's name was Louisa Matha and they were both born in Pennsylvania. I believe that both George and Louisa were buried in a cemetery in Delphos. They had 11 children. Do you have any informations about George's death or exactly where he is buried? Thank you.

My ggparents moved to Delphos, KS in 1871. They were John Matthew and Eleanor Baker TAPPEN. They had four children: George Tunis TAPPEN, Jane Ann TAPPEN COFFIN, Susan Baker TAPPEN THACHER (my gmother), and John Henry TAPPEN. I am specifically looking for the children of John Henry TAPPEN. Robert Matthew TAPPEN was born in Delphos in 1911 and passed away in September of 1981. Social Security Death Index lists the last check as sent to Nebraska. There is rumor that there was a second child, Ila Mae. Perhaps Robert was living with her in NE when he died? I am hoping that the records you have will confirm Ila Mae's existance and perhaps give me an idea where each of these two went. Of course any information you find about any TAPPEN, THACHER, or COFFIN will be greatly appreciated.
